Manage database resources alongside your applications. Choose an engine and hosting target, then configure how your application receives the connection details.
Available engines
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- Redis
- MongoDB
Create a database
- Add a database from your workspace. Choose its name, engine and an available version.
- Select Nashir-managed infrastructure or a connected server. Review the target and resource availability.
- Choose manual credential delivery or an application binding, then create the database. Wait for its status before attempting a connection.
Connect an application
For an application binding, choose the app and environment-variable key that should receive the connection value. With manual delivery, copy the connection details to the app’s variables. Apply the configuration and redeploy when required.
Operate safely
- Review database status and logs when connections fail.
- Check credentials, network access and the variable name expected by your app.
- Before migrations or deletion, verify that you have a usable backup and a tested recovery path. Do not assume a backup schedule or recovery guarantee.
