MCP for agents

Last updated:

Nashir exposes MCP tools for workspace context, applications, deployments and configuration. The agent acts within the workspace access and scopes you authorize.

Connect your agent

  1. Open the agent/MCP connection settings in your Nashir account. Copy the endpoint and setup instructions shown there.
  2. Add a remote MCP connection in your client. Client configuration formats differ; use its current instructions.
  3. Complete the authorization flow and review the requested permissions. Ask the agent to list accessible workspaces before changing resources.

Available operations

  • Read workspace context, applications, deployments and permitted logs.
  • Inspect repositories and create projects, apps or database resources when authorized.
  • Update configuration or start deployment actions within the granted scopes.

Useful first requests

  • List the applications in my workspace and their deployment status.
  • Read the logs for the latest failed deployment of this application.
  • Review this application’s configuration before starting a deployment.

Permissions and confirmation

Read access does not grant permission to deploy or delete. Some actions require explicit confirmation; inspect the target and impact before approving. Revoke a connection from the account’s agent settings when it is no longer needed.
